    Research on Key Technologies of AM-Micro/Mini LED Large-Size Display

    Project significance

    The project plans to break through major common key technologies such as upstream chips, driver devices, materials, TFT substrates, and packaging in the AM-Micro/Mini LED display industry chain, and establish a new display based on the combination of a new generation of TFT active matrix technology and Micro/Mini LED technology Industrial chain technology system, to achieve a batch of new AM-Micro/Mini LED products, new processes, new technologies, and new standards with independent intellectual property rights, and produce innovative results reaching the international first-class level to meet the development and expansion of emerging display application technologies Emerging application market.

     

    Research content

    The project studies the key mechanism influencing factors of Micro/Mini LED light-emitting devices, micro-size LED chip preparation and micro-nano processing, active high-current Micro/Mini LED pixel drive technology, Micro/Mini LED color chip batch transfer and high-reliability bonding, Ultra-high-definition video signal processing technology, ultra-large size machine manufacturing, photoelectric parameter acquisition and correction, detection evaluation and system support.

     

    Application prospect

    It is expected to complete the development of AM-Micro/Mini LED pixel pitch 0.4mm to 0.8mm array modules and 80-140 inch 4K standard display products, realizing the pilot production capacity and product demonstration applications of AM-Micro/Mini LED display products, enabling Micro/ Mini LED to become the mainstream of large-size and super-size display technology. The results of the project would be transformed in Foshan, Guangdong to realize industrialized production and stimulate local economic development, and to form an industrial clustering effect and produce significant economic and social benefits.
